Samsung S3:rumors and expectations

Here it comes!Or maybe not.Rumor-ists are loading the internet with news of the Samsung S3 hitting the market anytime, anyday, anywhere.Though earlier rumors put the release of the smart phone during the MWC 2012,the MWC saw no such thing happening. However a samsung official made waiting easier after reportedly saying:
“Samsung is looking forward to introducing and demonstrating exciting new mobile products at Mobile World Congress 2012,the successor to the GALAXY S II smartphone will be unveiled at a separate Samsung-hosted event in the first half of the year, closer to commercial availability of the product.”
If rumors are to be believed the S3 will have the following features:
It will also have a 4.8-inch 1080p resolution display(2S had a 4.3-inch display)

The phone will have a 1.5GHz quad-core Exynos processor (2S had a 1.2GHz dual core)

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich(S2 had android 2.3)

8MP camera( same as its predecessor)

If all this is true, Samsung's S3 is all set to give iPhone 5 some very tough time later this year.

HOW SONY TABLET P COULD REVOLUTIONIZE TABLETS FOREVER

Some time ago Sony made a mistake. Then instead of pulling it back they gave it a name and decided to market it.To say that Sony opened the doors of boo-ing on itself when it launched a folding tablet would not be off the mark.Ever since the Sony Tablet P left the factory,it's been inviting criticism everywhere it goes. So why did the folding tablet idea fall flat? To be honest,I do firmly believe that someone had to make tablets more portable and try out the folding tablets idea. But one can hardly say that Sony did justice to it.Dont get me wrong. Its probably not Sony's fault. And in the long run, it might even be a good thing for tablets .This is why I think Sony took the wrong step in the right direction.

First the wrong steps

FOLDING SCREEN

One is because of several inches of dead plastic between the 2 halves of the screens.A smaller separation might have been easier to accept but there's a significant gap between the two screen which tends to annoy the user and takes the fun out of several apps, specially in games.
PRICE
Secondly, though it weighs only 0.82lbs,its no light thing on your pockets. It leaves you with 550$ less and thats alota money for a tablet, even the best of tablets.(The new iPad costs less and has a lot more to boast about.)
THE RIGHT DIRECTION
The only thing better than a smart phone is a tablet, right? What if our tablets were as easy to take with us as our phones? The tablet P might not have many fans right now but once flexible screens become more common, newer versions of Tablet P might be more succesful. This could open a new field for tablets to compete in.Folding tablets might become as common as folding cell phones were back in the day.But all this only if Sony brings down the price to match its rivals prices.

New iPad to hit UK markets on 16th March 2012

Apple finally unveiled its long awaited upgrade of the iPad 2.And this time,Apple has really outdone itself and it seems Tim Cook has filled Steve Jobs shoes (if they could ever be filled). Why?The answer is simple. The answer is HD.Very very HD.More HD than the eye can possibly comprehend. And alot of other features as well. You can expect to find the following specs in your New iPad:

the iPad 3 resolution would be 2048 x 1536 pixels on a 9.7in screen. The resolution is so high, that it needs an on board grahpics acceleraor/
It weighs only 260grams with a depth of .37inch
comes in as much 64GB.
Retina display( the reason its so HD)
Its 4G!
5Mega Pixel iSight camera
Video recording, HD (1080p) up to 30 frames per second with audio.(Rispect!!)
Its obvious Apple is in no mood of letting go of an inch of its market share. Its going to be a very long time before any competitor comes anywhere near the iPad 3.
